Support
Email support@apptomi.com and a person will answer. Telling us what you asked for, what appeared instead, and which device you are on gets you a useful reply on the first round.
Getting started
How do I make a tool or a game?
Tap New and say what you want in a sentence or two. The first time, choose In an AI chat app (free) and pick the chat you use. Then:
- Tap Copy and open. APPTOMI copies a request and opens your AI chat.
- Paste it into the chat and send it. The request is long; that is normal.
- When the chat is done, copy its whole reply.
- Come back to APPTOMI and tap Paste reply, then Add.
You never write a prompt yourself. Claude works best for bigger tools and games; Gemini and ChatGPT work well for smaller ones.
Do I need an AI key?
No. The AI chat route is free with the free plan of Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT. If you have a key from Google or Anthropic, APPTOMI can make it right there with no copying, and the provider charges you for what you use. You can switch between the two at the top of the New tool or game screen.
The chat stopped in the middle
Big tools and games can be too long for some chats, Gemini most often. Ask the chat to continue, or try the same idea in Claude.
How do I make a game?
Switch on Making a game? under your idea. Your game then uses APPTOMI’s own pixel art: tap Explore to see the characters, places and things it can draw, and simply name the ones you want in your idea.
What does the free version include?
You can keep 5 tools and games you make and 3 from friends. The 4 samples that come with APPTOMI don’t count, an update never counts, and deleting one makes room for a new one.
Where do my tools and games live?
On your device. They appear on the APPTOMI home screen and keep working offline. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.
Sharing
How do I send a tool or game to someone?
Export it as a single .soloapp file and send that file however you
like. You can protect it with a passphrase, which encrypts it before it leaves your
device. There is no store, no catalogue, and no account needed to open one.
Someone sent me one. Is it safe?
It was written by whoever sent it to you, not by APPTOMI. Before you add it, APPTOMI shows you what it is and every device capability it asks for, and nothing sensitive happens without your say-so at the moment it happens. Only open files from people you trust.
Reporting
Any tool or game can be reported from its own screen — the flag in the top bar — or by holding its icon on the home screen. Reporting emails us the details and, if you choose, removes it and blocks it on your device so it cannot be added again from the same file.
The ones you have blocked are listed under Settings → Safety & Policies → Blocked, where you can unblock any of them.
What may and may not be made or shared is set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Something is wrong
Making one failed, or it misbehaves
Open Settings → Diagnostics and use Share log. The logs stay on your device until you send them, and they are the fastest way for us to see what happened.
A permission prompt is in the way
APPTOMI asks for microphone, speech recognition, or notification access only at the moment you use a feature that needs it. If you said no earlier and want to change your mind, Android Settings → Apps → APPTOMI → Permissions has the switches.
Privacy and data
APPTOMI stores nothing about you. Its only server helps phones find each other for internet play on Android, and it keeps nothing. The full account is in the Privacy Policy.
